SClips for iOS & Apple Watch

Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 October 2026

SClips is a tennis highlight recorder developed by Filip Krawczyk (“we”, “us”). This page explains what the app does with your data and the terms under which you may use it.

Privacy Policy

The short version

SClips does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and makes no connection to any server operated by us or by third parties. Everything you record stays on your device.

Permissions the app asks for

You can change any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Denying a permission disables only the related feature.

Apple Watch companion

The SClips Watch app communicates with the iPhone app exclusively over Apple’s local WatchConnectivity framework in order to trigger saving a clip and show recording status. No data leaves your devices.

Data we do not collect

Apple may collect limited diagnostic data (such as crash logs) according to your own iOS settings and Apple’s privacy policy; we have no access to data that could identify you.

Children

Because SClips collects no data at all, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 or any other age group.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. All of your recordings can be deleted directly in SClips or in the Photos app. Uninstalling the app removes all app settings.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of SClips changes the way it handles data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above before that version is released.

Terms of Use

License

SClips is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You may install and use the app on any Apple device you own or control.

Your content

You own all clips you record with SClips. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to record the people, places, and events that appear in your clips and for complying with local laws regarding filming and audio recording.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use SClips for any unlawful purpose, to record people without consent where consent is required, or to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

Disclaimer of warranty

SClips is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that recordings will be captured, saved, or preserved in every situation, and we recommend that you keep backups of clips that are important to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of recordings, data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of SClips.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update, change, or discontinue SClips or these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
